Popular native perennial with fern-like foliage and wonderful nodding spurred blossoms orangey-red and yellow. Best with a little shade and regular moisture. Grows 1 1/2’ to 3’ tall. Flowers attract hummingbirds; the seeds are relished by small birds such as sparrows and Juncos.
