California Flora Nursery is devoted to natives and habitat gardening
Cal Flora is devoted to natives and habitat gardening, focusing on local Bay Area needs, but serving all of California. Our enthusiastic team is knowledgeable about how to select and care for plants that are pollinator-friendly, low-water, and fire-safe. Plants are grown on site, with an emphasis on phytosanitary cleanliness. We aim to make in-demand natives readily available to customers, as well as provide a diverse range of California’s more unusual and hard-to-find species.
We offer species from all over the state; from windswept coastlines to Sierran peaks, and rich grasslands to rugged chaparral. One of our specialties is manzanitas, but we love the diversity of all of California’s native species. The nursery has introduced a large array of different selections into the trade, but we do have a particular emphasis on seed grown species.
