Introduced by Santa Cruz Arboretum this aromatic evergreen perennial spreads to form mats about 3’ wide. Arching flower stems 8 -12 inches above foliage are made up of showy pink papery bracts with tiny lavender flowers. Highly attractive to bees. Flowers make lasting “cuts”. Deer don’t seem to eat it. For sun with moderate to infrequent summer water.
