Viola corsica
Corsican violet

Native to Corsica and Sardinia, this is a sturdy little violet that may seed around in a nice way if it’s happy. Forms tidy mounds 6 - 10 inches tall and wide. Good size violet-blue blossoms marked with deep purple and white, bloom over a long period, often from spring through fall. Likes well drained soil with some organic matter, light shade, and moderate summer water.
