Tricyrtis ‘Hatatogisa’
toad lily

Blooms late summer into fall. Interesting perennial for shade - they often do well in the hard-to-garden areas on the north side of buildings. The almost pleated leaves are neatly spotted with darker green. The intriguingly beautiful flowers are white with petal tips washed purply-blue, a softly yellow center and generously speckled with little dots of maroon. Moist woodlands are the preferred habitat - so give regular water and protect from hot sun.
