Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Atrosanguineum’

A gorgeous leafy rhizomatous perennial that can grow quite large: up to 4 ft. tall and wide. It is covered with arching slender "bottle brush" wands made up of small crimson flowers from July through September. Likes part shade and rich soil with adequate water where it will grow quickly.
