Leycesteria formosa
Himalayan honeysuckle

An interesting shrub for lightly shaded areas. Grows rapidly 5 to 6 ft. tall with lush foliage and a slightly arching habit. Wonderful dangling flower clusters composed of wine red bracts and pinkish tubular blossoms. Shiny reddish-black fruits develop which the birds relish. A striking specimen for part shade and moderate water.
