Lepechinia hastata

Bold and beautiful sage relative. Grows 4 to 6 ft. tall, spreading to form a small thicket. Foliage is fragrant and the flowers are showy, reddish-purple in summer. Great in the flower border or out in the “wild” part of the garden. Easy, tough. Full sun, occasional water. Deer don’t seem to eat it.
