A lovely perennial native to the Eastern U.S.. Forms large clumps in damp soil with great jagged leaves. Plumes of small pink flowers rise on tall stems. Grows 5 - 8 ft. tall. Does best with ample water, rich soil, and a little shade from the hottest afternoon sun.
