Correa ‘Dusky Bells’
Australian fuchsia

Densely branched mounding shrub 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 ft. tall by 6 ft. wide. Valued for its long flowering season from fall to early spring with small hanging, bell-shaped flowers of vivid red. Requires good drainage, doing well in poor, rocky soils, for sun to light shade in hot regions and moderate summer water. A wonderful ground cover for banks or slopes. Attractive in large containers where the flowers can be enjoyed close up. An excellent winter nectar source for hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
