Cistus ‘Tania Compton’
rockrose

A new rockrose for us from England. Forms an upright or rounded shrub 2 1/2 ft. tall with white flowers. Rockroses are sun loving, fast growing, tolerant of aridity, poor soils, wind and salt spray. Good erosion control for dry banks. Rockroses do NOT like over watering or hard pruning. Deer often leave rockroses alone. Thanks to Neil Bell of Oregon State University for sharing his new collection of Cistus with us.
