Cistus aguilari
rockrose

Fast growing tall rockrose 6 - 8 ft. tall and 4 - 6 ft. wide. Good evergreen informal screen. Scarlet tinted buds open to large (to 4 inches across!) white beautiful crepe-papery flowers in spring. Full sun, most soils, moderate to litttle water. Needs good drainage if they are to be watered. Some pruning/shearing right after bloom can help keep growth denser. Formerly sold as Cistus ‘Blanche’.
