blue blossom

A large ceanothus, often becoming a small tree. Shiny, deep green foliage and good sized clusters of deep true blue flowers in the spring. Thanks to Carl Hanscam of Occidental for sharing this good flower color form with us. Grows fast, 10 - 15 ft. or more. Can be trained into a single trunk if desired. Useful as a specimen tree, background shrub or informal hedge. Sun, light shade. Drought tolerant.
