Carex muskingumensis ‘Oehme’
palm sedge

Native to low woods and wet meadows in north central North America. This sedge slowly creeps to form patches up to 2 ft. tall. The attractive foliage radiates from culms resembling palm fronds which provides interesting form and texture. This cultivar, from designer Wolfgang Oehme's garden, starts out evenly green in the spring. As the season progresses, narrow yellow margins become increasingly evident. Grow in cool sun or light shade with regular water. Deer resistant.
