variegated feather reed grass

A beautiful grass forming a sturdy narrow column of deep green blades with creamy-white variegation. The pink blushed feathery flower heads begin in early summer fading to blonde as the season progresses. Flower stalks rise about one foot above the foliage to a total height of around 5 ft. tall. Prefers a cool situation and some shade where summers are hot. Best with regular moisture. Cut to the ground in winter. Deer resistant.
