Buddleia globosa
orange butterfly bush

A vigorous species with handsome foliage and distinctive flowers, growing 10 ft. or more tall and wide. Dark green leaves with downy undersides can be evergreen or semi evergreen, depending on the winter. Orange ball-like flower clusters arranged on 6 - 8 inch spikes are very showy and intriguing, blooming late spring or early summer. Plant in sun with moderate to regular water. Unlike most butterfly bushes, this one blooms on last year’s wood, so do your pruning right after it blooms.
