Aster laevis ‘Bluebird’
aster

A handsome, easy to grow perennial growing 4 ft. tall by 2 1/2 ft. wide. Stout stems form a vase-shaped clump of clean looking foliage. Late summer brings a profusion of one inch lavender-blue daisies that cover the entire top half of the plant. Best in sunny areas with regular to moderate water. Asters are enjoyed by butterflies and a wide variety of pollinators.
