Aster divaricatus Raiche Form
woodland aster

Native to eastern North American woodlands, this useful perennial will light up a shady area with its profusion of one inch white daisies in late summer. This form, selected by Roger Raiche, has larger flowers than the standard Aster divaricatus. They are held on lovely, dark, wiry stems that grow just under 2 ft. tall and wide. Plant in light shade with moderate to regular summer water. Will tolerate dryish conditions.
