mugwort

This selection from Bodega Bay is thought to be a hybrid between Artemisia douglasiana & Artemisia suksdorfii. Gorgeous felted gray foliage growing 2 ft. tall and spreading to form colonies. Often found along drainages, this plant appreciates some summer water and full sun. Flowers small and not particularly showy. Deer resistant. Named for the comic book character, Silver Surfer.
