Good subject for a dry sunny bank. The cuttings of this manzanita are from a ranch off of Westside Road in Healdsburg, Sonoma County. A handsome rounded shrub 6 ft. tall by 10 ft. wide. Flowers heavily in the spring with white urn-shaped flowers followed by clusters of tiny apple-shaped fruits. The manzanita berries can attract mockingbirds, robins, and Cedar Waxwings. It provides low shrubby cover for quail and wren-tits and its flowers provide nectar for hummingbirds.
