Forms a flat dense mat of grayish-green foliage. Glowing golden-yellow flat-topped flower clusters rise 6 - 10 inches above this spreading perennial in mid spring. Nice small scale groundcover or rock garden item where it grows in full sun with little to moderate summer water.
