Summer Sale!

The field is nearly full. The greenhouses are still packed full with young starts. We need room! To encourage our customers we are offering our first ever summer sale at the same discount as our popular Fall sale of 30% off. This brings our prices down to wholesale. The only exception is our lavender labeled plants. Those plants marked with a lavender label are difficult to propagate, long in production or brought in from other growers. We have great diversity and availability right now.

Sustain Biodiversity by Gardening with California Native Plants

Tuesday, September 18, 7:30 p.m.

Newsletter #3 - Got Habitat?

Gardeners wanting to increase biodiversity will want to include native plants in their gardens.  Besides being beautiful and well adapted, native plants provide food and cover for native birds, bees, butterflies and amphibians.  No matter what your garden's focus, including native plants will increase the abundance and diversity of native fauna.

We Have Buckwheats!

Newsletter #2 - Spring Natives

Native and Hybrid Iris

Native Iris are long lived and useful perennials for the garden with beautiful flowers and evergreen strap shaped leaves.  We are growing three native species of Iris from seed.  Iris douglasiana, Iris longipetala and Iris macrosiphon.
